Alright, so I just got home from the cruise. Even though I am happy to have seen Kreator again, I was slightly disappointed with the whole Close-up-cruise-koncept. The first thing that happened was that the personel went through my bags and threw away all my food (a bag of physalis, some bananas, a big salad and two coca-cola). The reason for this was that we were supposed to buy our food and bewerages on board. It is possible that this information is available in fine print on the cruise home page but I was very disappointed since I hate to see food go to waste. They threw it all into the garbage while I watched.
As usual these cruises are full of fat, drunks blasting vulgar swedish punk. However, I was here to see Kreator and I didn’t care about the debauchery. Also, I was still pissed off with the cruise line and I decided not to buy any alcoholic bewerages on this trip.
Kreator was in a good mood and had one hour to play. This is how the setlist looked like.
VIOLENT REVOLUTION
HORDES OF CHAOS
WARCURSE
EXTREME AGGRESSION
TERRIBLE CERTAINTY
ENEMY OF GOD
PHOBIA
DESTROY WHAT DESTROYS YOU
COMA OF SOULS/ENDLESS PAIN (medley)
PLEASURE TO KILL
VOICES OF THE DEAD
——————————————
FLAG OF HATE/TORMENTOR (medley)
I am not 100% that I put this down in the right order or if I missed something. But it is pretty close. It is pretty much the same low fat setlist that they played on the summer festivals last year but this time they played the complete Terrible certianty and Pleasure to kill (not as part of medleys or linking them together with other songs).
The band was seen walking around on the boat at other times as well. I met Christian and Sami at different occations (but didn’t approach them) and I heard that Ventor had been sitting in the open restaurant earlier in the evening.
I think the setlist will change quite a bit in the summer. They didn’t play any new songs at this show which they have promised to do for the summer festivals.
