I’m dying when I hear the intro of the Servant in Heaven King in Hell, that riff is really great and with Speesy’s finger style playin’ it’s more and more good.I also love that riff with guitar but the intro is true killer!
And you should know that, when I listen another Kreator song it will be changed!! Like,Terrible Certainty!!
No offense, but it would be great if the title of the topic would have something to do with it’s content. Otherwise one day we’ll have 10 awesome new fun question threads and nobody knows which one was about riffs or favourite songs etc.! ;)

 True, true…and the answer to the opening question is “Take their lives”. If you don’t believe me,listen to the song, that’s one killer riff there! Still can’t believe it didn’t make the album back then!

Not only riff, also guitar’s tone is unbelievable!
And my another faves are Forever and Phobia!!
I think the opening riff to People of the lie is one of the best riffs. It is an intro in the same spirit of Judas priest’s The Hellion or the opening chords of Metallica’s Ride the lightning. It’s the kind of riff that makes the hairs stand up on your arms.
The first riff I was thinking of was actually the verse riff of Destroy what destroys you. The whole Hordes of chaos album is extremely riff-strong and that’s why I consider it a better album than Violent revolution and Enemy of God. In metal; the riff is the foundation.
The first riff that came to my mind was the beginning to “Phobia”. As soon as it kicks in the crowd becomes a thrashing, moving, moshing, screaming mess simultaneously. I’ll have to think a while to get my favorite. For now though. I second the Phobia riff for sure even though there are many good ones. Mille recently got an award from someone where they gave him the title “Riff God” if I remember correctly. Mille is a riff God too. It is in my blasphemous user name.

Wow. I couldn’t have said it better. I agree 100%. Ever since Sami joined the band, the riffs seem to get better and the sound does as well, in my opinion.
