I consider it to be their best work as well as the culmination of the neoclassic period. Indeed, it’s my favourite metal album of this century, (the Japanese edition that is).
(I classify Kreator’s LPs as follows:
Pre-classic: Endless Pain
Classic: Pleasure to Kill, Terrible Certainty, Extreme Aggression, Coma of Souls.
Experimental: Renewal, Cause for Conflict, Outcast, Endorama
Neoclassic: Violent Revolution, Enemy of God, Hordes of Chaos, Phantom Antichrist.
The fourth album in every period is, in my view, the culmination of that era - Kreator at its apex.)
I also agree that its cover is the best of all Kreator’s albums, and one of the very best metal album covers of the 21st century.
