I have put together all the valid votes (the ones that made the deadline) to make a list of the most popular songs.
Since the voters have all voted for a different number of songs I have come up with a system where every voter get 100 points to divide between the songs. This means that if someone voted for only a single song, that song got 100 points. On the other hand; if you voted for 33 songs (as some people did) each song get 3.03 points.
I made it possible to put in negative votes. Some people made comments like “I really don’t want to hear Voices of the dead”. So, in those cases I counted that song as one of their songs but with a minus instead of a positive score. I also did not count intro tracks (Choir of the damned, The Patriarch, Corpses of liberty) as full songs unless someone specifically asked for an intro track without a song to follow it up. That means that you didn’t lose any voting power to the songs you really wanted to hear just because you mentioned an intro. I took into notice when voters had put some songs as favorites. In those cases I divided their points so that a song marked with exclamation marks and big letters got double scores (or even triple scores if they sounded desperate). This does not mean that those voters got extra points. They just got distributed in a different way.
I also kept seperate scores for Inner Circle members and regular members to make two lists. In the first list (Democratic system) I counted all votes even. The Inner Circle members votes are included here as well. In the second list (Capitalist system) I gave regular Inner Circle member 200 points instead of 100 points and I gave VIP Inner Circle members 300 points. The names Democratic and Capitalist system is not to be taken too seriously.
I used two decimals for all votes when counting but I present the scores here in even numbers since there was no ties anyway.
