Inspired by the thread on the most underrated / unappreciated Kreator songs, I thought I’d start one regarding their most underrated album.

My own candidate is Terrible Certainty which was overshadowed by Pleasure to Kill before it, and Extreme Aggression & Coma of Souls, after it.  Yet with thrash classics like ‘Blind Faith’ and ‘Toxic Trace’, not to mention the title track, it strikes me as one of their best albums.

Endorama is one of the most under-rated and misunderstood albums ever.

Cause For Conflict Very strong and influential, maybe one of the best metal albums from 90’s.

Surely Terrible Certainty, so many great songs that the band never seem to play live anymore. One of Us is one of my favourite Kreator tunes of all time. I’d love to see them do a bit of a nostalgia tour where the early albums get a good airing!

Saw an interview with Mille recently where he stated that he’s not very fond of Terrible Certainty.  He didn’t specify why.

Yep, TERRIBLE CERTAINTY!!!  The best KREATOR album IMO and one that we never hear any songs live from aside from the title track.  Don’t know why Mille doesnt like it, but that explains his lack of these songs in the set lists over the past 20 years. For me this album has the sheer brutality of the Pleasure to Kill with better songs.
Not only my favorite KREATOR album, but one of my top 5 thrash albums by anyone.
This marks the 25th anniversary of the US tour for this record. Would be great to hear something different in the set from this thrash masterpiece!

I’d also love to hear “Terrible Certainty”, “Toxic Trace”, “Blind Faith” or “Behind the Mirror” live…

They have ALWAYS played Terrible Certainty…..they played Behind the Mirror once here in the States on the Extreme tour….Toxic used to be a staple, but last time was the Renewal tour…never played Blind Faith in the USA.

All of Kreator’s albums are underrated.  In the US, if it’s not from the Big 4 you have to search the underground for it.  That, to me, is sad, because although Slayer and Megadeth are still out there and they’re still good, Kreator completely blows all of those bands out of the water.  Metallica hasn’t released a great album since the 80s and Anthrax died in the 90s.
