I hope you could help me here: could anyone please tell me the exact release date for ‘Pleasure to Kill’?

I only know it was November 1986, but if you provide me with an exact day, I’d be eternally grateful!

Ive no idea of the ptk release date, why dont you drop noise records an email, im guessing they would have that information in their archives?

Good point, of course! Alas, Drop Records are defunct since 2001, then sold to Sanctuary Records, whose shreds are obviously currently sold to Universal. I just guessed it would take some time, if someone there ever cared to answer my request, and I guessed that devout Kreator fans are probably faster than that. ;)

tbh, i doubt anyone knows exact street date, except for band or somebody into radio/mag/distro back on the days and kept promo sheets.

If it was something from the 90’s i could help, the 80’s i was still a teenager ... but already into the Kreator’s music Horde ;p

Since you mention street date, i just recall how hilarious is people name Kill For Pleasure CD as 1986 (at many internet pages around).
General CD production started around 1982, but Noise International first CD was: NCD 001 86-1690 Running Wild “Gates to Purgatory”, and that was limited edition somewhere in 1987.

I did some research yesterday and just managed to acknowledge my assumption: Finding a definite release date will be hard.
The old advertisements in magazines by Noise often didn’t mention an exact release date - which seems to be the case here, too.

If I find out something new, I will post it here straight away. Maybe someone here owns the German magazine Rock Hard #16.
It contains a review of the album - and maybe some other hints…?

Wow, super. Thanks for that link! The site says exact release date was 24.01.1986, yet my information so far said November 1986. I just mailed to another succeeding record company, which is said to be run by the same guy who ran Noise Records. Let’s see what information he unearths, if he’s kind enough. ;)
