Violator, a nice Brazilian thrash band, are visiting Europe in July during their “Deadly Sadistic Tour”. After this tour, they’re going to record their second studio album!
Lich King, US thrash band, are going to release their forth album “Born Of The Bomb” pretty soon.

Violator, a nice Brazilian thrash band, are visiting Europe in July during their “Deadly Sadistic Tour”. After this tour, they’re going to record their second studio album!
Lich King, US thrash band, are going to release their forth album “Born Of The Bomb” pretty soon.

I admit that I’m not into as much new metal as I should be, but Violator is probably my favorite of the newer bands out now. I’m getting… well… old, in my old age. Maybe I should try some of those testosterone treatments that they show on TV? I don’t think that just a Pos-T-Vac will do it. Just kidding about the Pos-T-Vac… even at 39, ALL of my plumbing still is working fine.

Anyway… if anyone does get to see Violator, I’d love to hear about the show.

same here. i’m jealous of you european fans that get to see them! i doubt they’ll ever come to the USA

Hey, Timmy.
Do you like that new track from Testament? I really like it. Well, I like it tons more than I thought I would anyway. Alex Skolnick has always been one of my favorite guitarists and Testament bringing back Gene Hoglan is cool as well. Gene Hoglan is awesome. I remember seeing him play live on more than a few occasions when I was a kid. Back then he was playing with Dark Angel and Death. I always used to think that he overplayed a bit, but his style totally makes this new Testament track in my opinion. He does a great job of mixing it up. I’m glad that he decided to play on this album… I can’t wait to hear the rest. Thanks for the “heads up”, brother. Cool stuff. I still have to hear the Tankard track. Thanks again, bud. Very nice!

Now Playing: Janis Joplin - Me and Bobby McGee but getting ready to listen to the Tankard track… thanks to you. I know this isn’t the “What are you listening to now” thread… but my mom has friends over. They love Janis… I’ll have to put my headphones back on for Tankard. Haha!
